The Georgia Festivals & Events Association, an affiliate chapter of the International Festivals and Events Association is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for festival and event professionals and aspiring professionals to earn a scholarship for attendance to The Southeast Festivals and Events Conference, February 16-18, 2009, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Knoxville TN.
Applicants must meet the criteria outlined in this application. Once that is met, preference will be given to applicants from culturally diverse backgrounds and/or events. NOTE: If there is a possibility of your financial or professional status changing in such a way that creates a conflict with any of the requirements, please be aware the scholarship may be withdrawn.
Application deadline is December 17, 2008, 5:00 p.m. Applicants will be notified by December 30, 2008 via email. Those who apply and are not selected will be eligible to register for the conference and receive the early bird registration rate if done by January 15, 2007.
